There are ample of times that they reckoned what the viewers may like but totally forgot that a censor board exists who would ban any sort of content that they don’t approve of or may find inappropriate. This movie was based on the love story of four loves but the movie was set in the 16th century. For all we know, the critics appreciated the movie to an enormous extent, however, the censor board wouldn’t agree to approve it. The most horrendous thing of banning the movie is that the concept got banned in the same place where it was born. Nevermind.

“The Pink Mirror” certainly did trigger the sentiments of the censor board, as we expected. The movie was based on the concept of introducing a new form of sexuality to the people. A gay teenager and two transsexual men were making an attempt to seduce the straight man. Critics and censor board did contradict on the verdict.

Well, this is another erotic movie that the viewers might have enjoyed but the censor board did not approve of. The movie was based on how a priest gets sexually involved with a woman. And the Catholics out there were offended as well so it had to go down. Father having an affair with some young lady was the basic concept of this movie. This story line got this movie to get banned before its release.

Oh, well, as far as we know this movie was a completely unusual package for the censor board to encounter. The movie was based on same sex relationships which the censor board wouldn’t approve of by any means, wouldn’t you agree? If such sensitive topics that need to be understood by the people in great depth would be brought into light, how would censor board be happy?

The movie was banned but not all over India. It had a sensitive subject that the political parties of Gujarat could not deal with. Based on the Gujarat riots, the movie depicted how a young boy was lost during the Gujarat riots.
